BRANDING
“Groovy” described as fashionable and exciting, is the word I chose to name a hypothetical thrift store.  I then created 8 brand trends of logos for Groovy Thrift Store.
DESIGN OVERVIEW
The objective of this project was to select a single word and to create a logo using the word in 8 different brand trends. I crafted a responsive and adaptive design, embracing minimalism, channeling the vibrant spirit of the 80s/90s Memphis style, utilizing integrated negative space, adopting a badge approach, and incorporating a handwritten touch all for the same hypothetical store. Each logo uses different fonts and design choices that make them all wildly different while still advertising for the same brand.
DESIGN OUTCOME
The outcome of this project was I learned how to brand the same hypothetical store in 8 different ways. I improved my logo design skills and also learned what types of brand styles I excel in.
