DESIGN FOCUS: TYPOGRAPHY
In the Spring of 2024, I was in a Directed Experiential Education Program (DEE) for JWU where my partner Drew Byrnes and I collaborated with Potter League For Animals. Potter League For Animals is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to animal welfare and advocacy.
DESIGN OVERVIEW
The project involved revamping Potter League’s merchandise collection, which included sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags, hats, dog bowls, and leashes. Alongside core designs, we created a vibrant Pride Collection. My main contribution was creating a custom type face, the color schemes, and the final composition of each design. My partner was responsible for the black and white illustrations of each animal. Our goal was to craft each design with energy and uniqueness, reflecting Potter League’s mission of promoting animal welfare and inclusivity.
DESIGN OUTCOME
This project marked a significant milestone with the successful creation of merchandise designs for Potter League for Animals. It was a rewarding experience, collaborating closely with a client to create designs for a good cause, helping a non-profit in raising funds for the welfare of animals. Also, this project allowed me to venture into uncharted territory as I created a typeface for the first time, adding another layer of originality to our work.
